Dove Recovery House

The Miss Indianapolis Pageant has worked with the Dove Recovery House since 2020.

Dove recovery house is the largest recovery house program for women in Marion County and is certified as a level IV Recovery Residence.

Dove house serves 40 women each night and more than 80 women annually. In 2019, 73% of client's successfully completed the Dove House Program. At Dove house, we serve the most vulnerable women in our community-women who have experienced physical, emotional and sexual abuse; women who have experienced homelessness; women who are struggling with substance abuse use and disorder and have nowhere else to turn.

What even further distinguishes Dove House is that all programming is offered FREE of charge to clients; it costs $300/week per client, but the cost is completely covered by grants, corporate supporters, and individual supporters.

Dove recovery house served 85 women in 2019. From the 85 women 84% reunited with family and children; 73% successfully completed the program; 73% are employed, Volunteering, in training, or in school. Average wait list is 4-6 months at DOVE.
